A study in Colombia investigated the effect of brewer's yeast supplementation on milk production and quality in dairy cows. The research involved 12 Holstein cows receiving an experimental supplement with two levels of brewer's yeast inclusion, 100 g and 150 g, based on corn and molasses. The study found no statistical difference in milk production but significant differences in milk protein and fat fractions, with treatment 1 showing advantages. Despite the slight increase in milk production with brewer's yeast supplementation, the higher proportion of protein and fat in the milk was the key finding.
