Large supermarkets continue to gain market share by advancing their sales volume by 6.3% over a year, according to data from the Circana consultancy, which indicate that hypermarkets are losing 1% and are the only channel with a negative trend. According to the consultancy's figures, from the accumulated last year to August, the digital channel is also among the channels that have increased sales the most, by 15.8% in the twelve months analyzed.
