In 2020, Bulgaria's agricultural exports saw a slight decrease of 0.4%, totaling 4,775,294,000 euros, primarily due to a drop in cereal seed exports by 8%, while imports rose by 7.9%, valued at 3,997,112,000 euros. The exports and imports of oilseeds, edible meat and offal, milk and dairy products, poultry eggs, and natural honey also experienced declines. On the other hand, exports of vegetables and fruits saw an increase. The agricultural sector contributed 15.0% to Bulgaria's total trade, with exports and imports representing 17.1% and 13.0% respectively.
