In 2022, Molda's table grape supply to Romania and Poland significantly increased, nearly doubling and tripling respectively, making these countries the primary importers, accounting for approximately 90% of Moldova's EU grape exports. Despite the Russian embargo, the export ratio to the CIS and EU remained roughly equal at a 60/40 split. Molda' exported approximately 78 thousand tons of grapes, marking a figure close to the record set in 2017 and 2019. The country's gross harvest of table grapes was estimated to be between 90-100 thousand tons, with a minimum of 50-60% of the harvest meeting export-quality standards.
