Between January and July of 2024, Ukraine saw a significant increase in the export of live sheep and goats, with a total of 576 tons sent out, which is twice the amount from the same period in the previous year. The financial revenue from these exports also doubled, reaching $634,000. Lebanon is the primary consumer of Ukraine's sheep and goat production, with the country's herd numbering 1.1 million heads as of July 1.
