Data from the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA) shows that Brazil exported a total of 394.6 thousand tons of chicken meat in August, a 3.9% increase from the same period last year, which was 379.8 thousand tons. Export revenue reached $699.4 million, a decrease of 11.9% from the same period last year. From January to August, the total chicken meat exports were 3.394 million tons, a decrease of 1.1% from the same period last year, which was 3.432 million tons. The cumulative revenue for the first eight months reached $6.308 billion, a decrease of 0.2% from 2024.
