In February 2024, Armenia experienced a notable shift in its wheat trade dynamics, with wheat imports dropping significantly by 26% in volume and 46% in value, totaling 21.5 thousand tons and $4,256.1 thousand respectively, compared to the same period in 2023. On the other hand, the country saw an increase in the importation of wheat and wheat-rye flour, which rose by 44% in volume and 8% in value, reaching 3.0 thousand tons and $680.5 thousand. These changes in Armenia's wheat trade were highlighted in a report by Zerno On-Line, based on data from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.
