[Agricultural, Fisheries, and Livestock Newspaper=Reporter Nara Park] In the autumn atmosphere, Gongju City (Mayor Choi Won-cheol) has been widely promoting the warmth of the local community and the value of rural culture by holding a series of urban-rural exchange festivals that blend the city and the countryside. On the first day, the city held the '16th Dumani My Hometown Jidalgu Festival' in Duman-ri, Uidang-myeon, and the '1st Gongju Tea Culture Festival' in Sangsin-ri, Banpo-myeon, both of which were held successfully. These two festivals were carried out as part of Gongju City's 'new 5-do 2-chon' revitalization policy, providing a venue for urban residents and rural residents to share and exchange each other's cultures. The Jidalgu Festival, held at the Duman-ri Village Hall and the Agricultural Culture Experience Center, was attended by village residents.
