In Israel, almost 250,000 chickens were killed by bird flu

The virus is thought to have spread from the Margaliot Moshe on the Lebanese border. In this area, 244,000 laying hens are kept on farms in 60 chicken coops. Farms supply six million eggs a month for consumption by Israelis. It is noted that local farmers have not been able to report in real time the increase in mortality among poultry, which led to the rapid spread of the virus.
