Exports in June 2020 saw a recovery, with agriculture being a key contributor to this trend. Compared to the same month the previous year, there was a 17.2% increase in agricultural exports, including a 179.7% growth in fresh and frozen beef, a 96.4% increase in palm oil, and a 66.4% increase in dairy products and poultry eggs. Despite a 21.4% decrease in manufacturing exports in June, there was growth in exports of telecommunications devices, scientific instruments, and prefabricated buildings. Overall, agricultural exports grew by 0.6% in the first half of the year, while manufacturing exports fell by 22.2%.
