A survey conducted by the Piccoli Frutti Observatory in Padua on April 30, 2024, across 20 sales points of 20 brands belonging to 14 large-retail groups, has reported inconsistent prices and quality of small fruits like blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries, which are imported. However, Italian-grown blueberries outshined in terms of quality. Strawberries, despite being visually decent, had surprisingly low prices. The availability of currants is poor in the market. The survey found that Peruvian blueberries are still in the market.
