Also in the region, pork production increased by 4.3%, and sausage production by 3.0%.
According to Rosstat, in January–July of this year, in the Perm Krai, there was a 19.8% increase compared to the previous year's level, up to 2,100 tons, in the production of boiled, chilled, or refrigerated cattle meat (beef and veal). By the rate of increase in production of such products, the region ranks fourth among the subjects of the Volga Federal District, behind the Ulyanovsk Oblast (+79.1%), the Chuvash Republic (+43.1%), and the Penza Oblast (+26.2%).
Boiled, chilled, or refrigerated pork in the Perm Krai was produced 4.3% more than the previous year, or 7,700 tons. This is the fifth place in the rate of increase in production of such products in the district after Udmurtia (+21.6%), Chuvashia (+11.6%), Bashkortostan (+10.6%), and the Penza Oblast (+8.7%).
The volume of production of meat, meat-containing chilled and frozen semi-finished products over 7 months in the region amounted to 28,100 tons, and sausage products to 16,300 tons (+3.0% compared to the level of 2024).
