Reports indicate that Kazakhstan's processing industry is developing, and the country's food security is being strengthened.
Data shows that beef production reached 133,600 tons, an increase of 0.4% compared to the same period in 2024. Poultry production grew by 6.1%, reaching 157,700 tons.
The dairy processing industry is also showing growth: milk production increased by 3.9%, reaching 273,500 tons; yogurt production grew by 5.4%, reaching 37,100 tons; butter production increased by 12.7%, reaching 15,000 tons. Egg production was 1.79 billion, a 0.3% increase from last year.
Grain and oilseed product production saw significant growth. Wheat flour production increased by 6.5%, reaching 1,438,300 tons; buckwheat production grew by 19.4%, reaching 10,700 tons; pasta production increased by 7.8%, reaching 63,700 tons.
Sunflower oil production grew by 21.7%, reaching 334,500 tons; rice production increased by 21%, reaching 84,500 tons.
Sugar production increased tenfold, from 61,000 tons last year to 64,000 tons; salt production grew by 6.1%, reaching 169,300 tons.
The Ministry of Agriculture stated that these indicators are strengthening national food security, expanding export potential, and promoting the development of domestic agricultural industrial production.
