According to Nizhny Novgorod Statistics, from June 9 to 16 in the Nizhny Novgorod region, prices for some types of fruits and vegetables decreased: white cabbage by 3.2% (to 60.16 rubles/kg), bananas by 2.2% (to 146.34 rubles/kg), fresh cucumbers by 2.0% (to 118.80 rubles/kg), fresh tomatoes by 0.9% (to 183.19 rubles/kg), and onions by 0.2% (to 66.21 rubles/kg). Potatoes could be purchased at an average of 78.96 rubles/kg, carrots at 57.36 rubles/kg, beets at 65.41 rubles/kg, and apples at 145.4 rubles/kg. In the dairy product category during the reporting period, whole ultrapasteurized milk with 2.5-3.2% fat and butter became cheaper by 0.4% (to 100.08 rubles/l and 1,011.95 rubles/kg, respectively). Whole pasteurized milk with 2.5-3.2% fat and sour cream slightly decreased in price by 0.1% (to 88.73 rubles/l and 325.35 rubles/kg).
