Starting January 1, 2022, food exports to China must be registered with the General Administration of Customs of China as per Decrees No. 248 and No. 249. This mandate covers a broad spectrum of food products and animal feed. From December 1, 2021, to May 5, 2024, a total of 3,092 applications from 1,550 enterprises were submitted through various departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation and the Ministry of Health and Sports. By May 3, 2024, 1,029 of these applications had been successfully registered.
