The National Quality Institute approved new implementation guides for Peruvian technical standards to improve competitiveness in coffee and cocoa exports in Peru. Two new Peruvian Implementation Guides, GIP 114:2023 and GIP 117:2023, focus on the technical standards for chocolate and its products, as well as the sensory evaluation of cocoa liquor. The project aims to promote the use of technical standards in the production chain to increase quality, competitiveness, and compliance with international standards.
