The Indonesian Meat Traders Association (APDI) announced an average increase of Rp. 30,000 per kilogram in beef prices ahead of Eid, with current stocks being sufficient. The prices are expected to rise further in the days following Eid, before gradually returning to normal between Rp. 120-130 thousand per kilogram. The lowest beef prices are in East Nusa Tenggara Province, at Rp. 107,900 per kilogram, while the highest are in the Bangka Belitung Islands at Rp. 153,750 per kilogram. The price of ham beef also saw a slight increase of IDR 600 on April 22, 2022, reaching IDR 133,700, a 0.45% rise from the previous day.
