The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and the Indonesian Navy have successfully prevented a smuggling attempt involving 277,800 clear lobster seeds (BBL) in the waters of East Tanjung Jabung, Jambi. This is part of a larger ongoing effort, with a total of eight smuggling attacks thwarted throughout 2024, resulting in the recovery of 982,025 BBL. This initiative aims to safeguard Indonesia's marine wealth and is supported by the establishment of the Project Management Office 724, dedicated to implementing regulations to improve lobster governance and cultivation.
