The Rural Agrarian Productive Development Program, Agro Rural, is planning to install 66,396 kilos of grass seeds across 1,060 hectares in the Junín region. The seeds will include various types such as forage oats, rye grasses, clover, Dactylis glomerata, and alfalfa. This initiative is part of the Multisectoral Plan against Frost and Cold, 2024, and aims to increase agricultural production, improve economic income for rural families, and ensure a consistent supply of fodder for livestock. The sowing will be done across several provinces, with the expectation to boost the production of milk, wool, and meat by improving the quality and quantity of pastures.
