REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman said that all identities of reporters in the "Lapor Pak Amran" channel are under full protection. He assured that the confidentiality of reporters is strictly maintained amid increasing public reports on various issues in the sector he leads. Amran conveyed that the channel is now receiving more than two thousand reports, including findings of rice and cooking oil smuggling in Batam. "The reporters are only me and God. That is what we protect. All reporters' confidentiality is secure," said Amran during a press conference at his residence in Jakarta on Tuesday (25/11/2025). He explained that reports of suspicious activities in Batam were received at night and immediately verified.
