This goat auction by the Gimcheon Livestock Cooperative is a long-cherished project of goat-raising farmers, aiming to stabilize farmers' income and improve the distribution structure by establishing an auction market. By conducting goat auctions, the cooperative sought to inject new vitality into the existing auction market, which was operated as a Hanwoo electronic auction, as part of efforts to diversify the livestock market, and to help farmers focus on stable production and contribute to income improvement. On the day of the auction, goat intermediaries and raising farmers from across the nation participated.
