[Agricultural, Fisheries and Livestock Products Newspaper=Reporter Kim Jin-oh] The Korean Food Promotion Institute (President Lee Kyu-min) announced that it will hold a special lecture titled "November Korean Food Concert" on the 6th of next month at the Han-sik (Korean cuisine) Cultural Space Ieum in Jongno, Seoul. This concert will feature a lecture on the topic of "A Story about the Protection and Sharing of Food Recipes," co-authored by Kim Sung-min, Director of the Korea Institute of Food Science and Technology, and Im Byeong-ung, a patent attorney from the law firm Lee & Dam. This special lecture is expected to add significance as it takes place at a time when K-Food is gaining attention as a future growth driver beyond its global popularity. It is also anticipated to stimulate discussions on the legal and social consensus necessary for Korean cuisine to advance as an industry beyond its cultural popularity.
