The Kyrgyzstan Ministry of Agriculture has imposed a temporary ban on the export of livestock and certain agricultural products. The Minister, Tilek Toktogaziev, explained that the ban is to prevent a decline in breeding stock and ensure a sustainable meat supply in the future. The ban includes large and small cattle, birds, horses, and feed, as well as rice, barley, corn, wheat flour, chicken eggs, vegetable oil, iodized salt, and sugar.
