In 2022, Latvia showed a significant interest in Russian crop products, importing over 40,000 tons despite strained relations with the European Union. The imports included soybean and sunflower meal, with a total of 180.2 thousand tons of livestock products exported from the Belgorod Region. The majority of these exports were feed and feed additives, with China, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Abkhazia, the LPR, and the DPR also showing interest in these products.
