Liberia and Indonesia establish expansion of cooking oil cooperation

Liberian President Joseph Nyuma Boakai is targeting opportunities to expand cooperation in the manufacture of cooking oil with Indonesia. He stated this at the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) held in Nusa Dua, Bali. ADVERTISEMENT President Boakai said that Liberia has started a partnership with an Indonesian private company that has investments in the palm oil industry through South-South cooperation with a value of more than 2 billion US dollars or equivalent to Rp31.1 trillion. "We now hope to continue this project up the value chain for the manufacture of cooking oil and other finished products and other derivatives for the domestic and international markets," said President Boakai, Tuesday (3/9/2024).
