The Regional Government of Lima inaugurated the Quichua–Pisupampa Irrigation System in the district of Andajes, Oyón province. The project will optimize the irrigation of 180 agricultural hectares and guarantee access to water resources throughout the year. The project, executed by the Regional Directorate of Agriculture of Lima, includes four reservoirs with a total capacity of more than 6000 m³, four aerial passes, a collection intake, a desander, and water conduction through 6.86 km of 12” HDPE pipe. A total investment of S/10.5 million was allocated for its execution, under the direct administration modality. During the inaugural event, the regional governor, Rosa Vásquez Cuadrado, highlighted that the greatest progress was achieved during her administration, with more than S/7 million executed between 2023 and 2025.
