Linseed traders report good quality of new crop in Kazakhstan

Early linseed in Pavlodar region is of good quality. This is stated by traders who have started purchasing. Farmers offered oilseeds at 280 thousand tenge per ton, but reduced the price to 240 thousand tenge. The analytical bureau “Grain and oilseeds. Kazakhstan” has released a review of the price situation on the agricultural crops market. In the period from August 11 to 17, flax fell in price by 15 thousand tenge. At present, its average price is 246 thousand tenge per ton with VAT. Earlier, the Grain Union of Kazakhstan predicted the development of a similar situation. The Union reported that the sowing area of flax in Kazakhstan increased by more than 50% in 2025 – to 1.3 million hectares. The reason for such popularity was high export demand and good marginality.
