Agrarians in the Lviv Region have completed sowing winter crops on 230,000 hectares, with winter crops making up 30.8% of all sown areas, a 1.4% increase from last season. Winter cereals account for 80% of the winter crop area, with winter wheat being the most widely grown, followed by winter barley and rye. The largest areas of winter crops were sown in the Lviv, Chervonograd, and Stryi districts.
