As the COP30 closure approaches, metrics and solutions for the agricultural sector are gaining prominence. With the aim of proposing guidelines adapted to the Brazilian reality, Aprosoja Brasil presented, during the conference, the Charter-Manifesto of Brazilian Soybean Producers, a document that establishes paths for a climate agenda compatible with tropical biomes. The manifesto defends fairer environmental metrics and compatible with Brazilian biomes, in addition to highlighting conservation practices already adopted by producers. According to the vice-president of Aprosoja MT, Luiz Pedro Bier, the charter marks the beginning of a continuous work to modernize environmental assessments in the agricultural sector. The 27-page document was also prepared by Aprosoja MT, with contributions from Professor and Doctor of Law from Harvard University, Daniel Vargas, from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV/Rio).
