From 2016 to 2020, Mexico's average annual export of these vegetables was 259,000 tons. The country ranked fifth in the world in terms of crop yield, with a share of 2.4%, and experienced an average annual growth rate of 4.2%. In 2021, Mexico harvested 596,000 tons of broccoli and 100,000 tons of cauliflower. The state of Guanajuato was the leading producer of these vegetables, contributing to 61% of Mexico's total crop yield.
