"The Ministry of Agriculture informs that the resignation of José Guajardo Reyes from the position of National Director of the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) has been requested, which becomes effective as of today," the ministry stated in a communiqué. The decision, according to the ministry, was made "following an analysis of the Service's management and responds to the need to strengthen the leadership of the SAG, ensure a successful agricultural season, and safeguard Chile's image in international markets."
