In 2025/2026, the Republic of Moldova exported 326 thousand tons of rapeseed, both as raw material and as processed oil, reports the national publication Agroexpert.md. According to data from the already sown fields, in 2026 the country plans to harvest an even larger crop of rapeseed, estimated at 350-400 thousand tons. The increase in production potential is part of a broader trend observed in Europe, where, according to analysts' estimates, the areas under rapeseed for the 2026 harvest will be significantly increased.
