Tomato prices in Morocco have declined to about four dirhams per kilogram due to the decrease in Tobamovirus. This relief in prices has led to cautious optimism from Al-Hussein Adrour, head of the Interprofessional Federation of Vegetable and Fruit Producers and Exporters in Morocco. In addition to the decline in tomato prices, other essential vegetables such as green onions, carrots, and potatoes have seen a decrease in prices due to an abundance of supply and excess production in certain regions.
