In 2020, the Novosibirsk region has seen a significant increase in the export of grain and grain products, with a total of 307.2 thousand tons exported compared to the same period in 2019. The majority of these exports, over 100 thousand tons, were sent to Kazakhstan. Other destination countries include Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Latvia, Mongolia, Belarus, Pakistan, Bangladesh, UAE, Nepal, Japan, Czech Republic, and Germany. All exported consignments met the phytosanitary and safety requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union and the importing countries, as no quarantine organisms were found in the grain grown in the Novosibirsk region.
