The Inter-Trade Association and Product Council of the Seed Association in Hungary has announced adequate autumn rye seed availability for the sowing season. The association is running a campaign to promote the use of metal-sealed seeds among farmers, which currently accounts for 40% of the seeds sown annually, falling behind the European average. The Seed Association is emphasizing the benefits of metal-sealed seeds for marketable quality goods and traceability. Despite weather challenges, there should be enough seed for last year's renewal level. However, financial issues are acting against the increase in the use of metal-sealed seeds.
