According to data submitted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to Representative Kim Seon-gyo of the People Power Party (Gyeonggi Yeoju-Yangpyeong) from the National Assembly's Committee on Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Food and Marine Affairs, as of June 2025, the shortage of livestock quarantine officials (public servants) nationwide is 673 people, which is 40.6% less than the appropriate number.
