New gardens and vineyards on 1200 hectares appeared in 2020 in the Khatlon region, Tajikistan

In 2020, in the cities and districts of the Khatlon region (Tajikistan), new orchards and vineyards were planted on an area of 1218 hectares, of which 891 hectares are dry land. The total area of intensive orchards that form the basis for the increase in fruit production has now reached 366 hectares. 235 hectares of old orchards and 67 hectares of vineyards have been restored in the region.
