Agro-holding "NIBULON" is abandoning the cultivation of sunflower in the Mykolaiv cluster, writes Latifundist.com. This was stated by the company's Director of Agricultural Production, Oleh Veselov, within the framework of the AgroExpedition-2025. He says that this year they cultivated sunflower for the last time, as from 400 hectares, the harvest was in the range of 0.2–1.2 tons/ha, while the break-even point is 1.4 tons/ha. "In fact, the sunflower drove us into the negative. Moreover, it could not be harvested with sunflower harvesters, most of it was harvested with grain harvesters," adds Oleh Veselov. Next year, they will completely abandon the crop, as well as the rest of the spring crops in the Mykolaiv region.
