On December 8th, the "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" rose by 0.48 points compared to last Friday.

According to the monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the "200 Index of Wholesale Prices for Agricultural Products" on December 8 was 129.26, rising by 0.48 points compared to last Friday, and the wholesale price index for "grocery basket" products was 131.98, rising by 0.57 points compared to last Friday. As of 14:00 today, the average wholesale price of pork in national agricultural wholesale markets was 17.66 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from last Friday; beef was 66.03 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from last Friday; mutton was 62.71 yuan/kg, down 0.8% from last Friday; eggs were 7.32 yuan/kg, down 1.6% from last Friday; and white-feathered chickens were 17.26 yuan/kg, down 1.3% from last Friday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.92 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from last Friday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.51 yuan/kg, up 1.3% from last Friday. Carp was 19.07 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from last Friday; crucian carp was 13.75 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from last Friday; silver carp was 9.82 yuan/kg, up 2.7% from last Friday; and large ribbon fish was 39.65 yuan/kg, down 1.4% from last Friday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products in the domestic wholesale market that are under key monitoring, the top five varieties with price increases compared to last Friday were pineapple, eggplant, garlic, silver carp, and pumpkin, with increases of 4.6%, 4.0%, 2.8%, 2.7%, and 2.7% respectively; the top five varieties with price decreases were lettuce, scallions, flat mushrooms, spinach, and celery, with decreases of 5.6%, 2.9%, 2.8%, 2.3%, and 2.1% respectively.
