According to the monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the "200 Index of Agricultural Wholesale Prices" on October 29 was 124.30, rising by 0.48 points from yesterday, and the wholesale price index for "grocery basket" products was 126.16, rising by 0.57 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average wholesale price of pork in the national agricultural wholesale market was 18.03 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday; beef was 66.29 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday; mutton was 62.35 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday; eggs were 7.37 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from yesterday; white striped chicken was 17.41 yuan/kg, down 1.6% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.67 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.20 yuan/kg, up 2.0% from yesterday. Carp was 19.26 yuan/kg, down 1.2% from yesterday; crucian carp was 13.60 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from yesterday; white sturgeon was 9.62 yuan/kg, down 4.8% from yesterday; large ribbon fish was 40.55 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products in the domestic wholesale market that were monitored, the top five in terms of price increase compared to yesterday were duck pear, pineapple, lettuce, leek, and cauliflower, with increases of 4.6%, 3.6%, 3.4%, 2.8%, and 2.7% respectively; the top five in terms of price decrease were white sturgeon, rapeseed, flat mushroom, white striped chicken, and asparagus, with decreases of 4.8%, 2.5%, 1.7%, 1.6%, and 1.6% respectively.
