The National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives in South Korea is strengthening its presence in the Thai market by signing a mutual cooperation agreement with Thai seafood distributor, Food Project. The deal aims to boost the export of Korean seafood products to Thailand, diversify these products in the local market, and increase sales activities. The Fisheries Cooperative also operated the Korean pavilion at the Thailand International Food Expo, attracting overseas buyers and achieving over $84 million in consultation amounts. The move is supported by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and local governments, with the Thai market being the fifth largest exporter of Korean seafood products.
