In recent years, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food has analyzed and presented to farmers important data related to crop rotation, which affects not only the quality of the harvest but also the preservation of soils and the natural fight against pests, because all of this is determined by the crops preceding each new sowing. A few days ago, the department published data on how local farmers are implementing good agricultural practices, which we will introduce to you. Statistics for wheat sown in 2024 and 2025 show that the crop rotation for this crop is the best because in both years, farmers allowed very small areas to be sown with wheat grain in two consecutive years. In 2024, wheat on wheat was allowed on only 6.4% of the area, and in 2025, this percentage continued to decrease to 6.2%.
