Overview of retail prices for foodstuffs in the Republic of Kalmykia

Over the week, the cost of tomatoes, onions, potatoes, and cottage cheese decreased in the region. According to Astrakhanstat, over the week (December 1-8) in the Republic of Kalmykia, among fruit and vegetable products, tomatoes decreased by 4.9% (to 189.97 RUB/kg), onions by 4.0% (to 43.55 RUB/kg), potatoes by 1.6% (to 45.48 RUB/kg), apples by 0.9% (to 126.64 RUB/kg), and beets by 0.3% (to 42.35 RUB/kg). Head cabbage could be purchased on average at 35.76 RUB/kg, carrots at 38.39 RUB/kg, cucumbers at 159.17 RUB/kg, vegetable preserves for baby food at 721.44 RUB/kg, and fruit and berry preserves at 511.54 RUB/kg. Among meat and meat products, over the week, there was a decrease in the cost of chilled and frozen chickens (by 0.4%, to 260.78 RUB/kg).
