With an increase in volumes of 12.7 percent compared to the previous month, exports of refrigerated and frozen beef totaled 61,500 metric tons in June, worth 320.5 million dollars. Compared to May, the value obtained also improved by 7.2 percent, according to data released by the ABC Consortium, which brings together exporting meatpackers. Mario Ravettino, president of the consortium, detailed that compared to June 2024, the exported volumes were 4.6% higher, while the value obtained showed a significant recovery of 45.7 percent. The accumulated total for the first six months of the year reveals that exports of refrigerated and frozen beef amounted to 312,600 metric tons for a value of 1,587.9 million dollars.
