In the year 2024, Peru's coffee exports surpassed 230 thousand tons, generating over US$ 1,000 million in revenue, as reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri). With a production spread across 16 out of 24 regions, covering 425 thousand hectares, Peru has emerged as a significant player in the global coffee market, ranking as the tenth largest producer and the second largest exporter of organic coffee. The country's coffee has been recognized for its quality in international competitions, reinforcing Peru's position as a prominent player in the global coffee industry.
