In December 2024, Peru experienced a significant increase in tomato exports, shipping 384 tons, a 124% rise from the 171 tons exported in the same month of 2023. These exports were delivered to 11 countries, with Ecuador and Colombia being the primary recipients, receiving 38% and 22% of the shipments, respectively. The leading exporters were Icatom S.A. and C&M International Freight S.A.C., contributing 59% and 19% to the total export volume, respectively. A total of 17 buyers were registered for these exports.
