Phased demolition of 'wide-area wild boar barrier fences' underway

Some of the extensive fences installed to prevent African Swine Fever (ASF) are being phased out. The Central ASF Response Headquarters (headed by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries) announced on the 4th that it has finalized the "Management Plan for Wild Boar ASF Barrier Fences" to maintain the prevention effect while reducing ecological impact. According to the management plan for the extensive fences announced by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the areas are divided into those to be removed and those to be retained, and the removal is divided into three stages: priority removal, expanded removal, and long-term removal review.
