Planas highlights the 'excellent relationship' between Spain and China in the agricultural, food, and fishing sectors

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, met this Monday with the ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Yao Jing, to discuss the strategic relationship and future avenues of collaboration between the two countries. Planas highlighted "the excellent relationship that Spain and China maintain," especially in the agrarian, food, and fishing sectors. In this regard, he emphasized that this cooperation is based on mutual trust, loyalty, respect, and rule-based international trade. He assured that China is "a fundamental and strategic partner" for Spain and Spain's main market in Asia, according to ministerial sources.
