Indonesia is a major exporter of pepper, coconut, and tea, making it one of the world's largest producers of these commodities. The country has the largest pepper field in the world, contributing to job creation and foreign exchange earnings. In 2021, pepper exports reached 39,961.36 tons, tea exports were 46,003.88 tons, and coconut exports were 2,133,555.64 tons. Indonesia is the 7th largest tea producer in the world, with tea production primarily for export. The demand for coconut and its derivative products is increasing, and Indonesia is the world's leading producer of coconut shell briquettes. However, the country is unable to meet all export demands. There is also a high demand for organic palm sugar from European countries.
