My Agriculture— Currently, Indonesia is one of the largest pepper exporters in the world, and the largest pepper field in the world is located in Indonesia. Not only pepper, other plantation commodities that are also a mainstay are coconut and tea which both contribute to the country's foreign exchange. Based on the 2021 plantation balance, pepper exports managed to reach 39,961.36 tons, while pepper imports were recorded at 295.37 tons. Tea exports were recorded at 46,003.88 tons, while tea imports were recorded at 10,442.75 tons. Furthermore, coconut exports were recorded at 2,133,555.64 tons, while coconut imports were recorded at 76,183.28 tons. Black pepper originating from Lampung is known in the world market as Lampung black pepper, while white pepper originating from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province is known as Muntok white pepper.
