The Ministry of Agriculture has held an industry seminar with Polish exporters and Jordanian importers of apples, as part of a campaign to increase Polish apple exports to Jordan. The campaign, which has been ongoing for three years, aims to resolve any issues hindering the export of Polish apples to Jordan and to increase export volumes. Jordan is the largest recipient of apples in the Middle East region. Last year, agri-food exports to Jordan were valued at nearly EUR 40 million, with apples, pears, quinces, cheeses, dairy products, and baked goods among the exports. The value of exports to Jordan in the first seven months of 2024 was over EUR 18 million.
